If you are at least a little bit environmentally conscious you don't step into this place. The food was OK, but they pack EVERYTHING into plastic, the sauces SEPARATELY. Until this policy isn't changed I'll leave my rating one star and I encourage everyone to do so as well. Good that I had my own cutlery and box.

Had falafel during recent visit. Cosy place. Moderately priced. Taste was excellent. As good as we had it in Dubai.

Great little Mediterranean food spot. Very reasonable prices. Always fresh which is rare these days. Wish I’d found this spot much sooner.

My boyfriend and I live right around the corner from Sido and I don't think we can ever move. We love it here, the staff is always so friendly and quick with the orders, and the food is AMAZING. We usually always get the Shawarma, but definitely always get the falafel. They are so good. The hot sauce they give is also delicious, we keep the leftovers in the fridge for other meals. The price is also so worth the amount of food you get, we're always satisfied. Sido is just the best..... I could go on forever... one of our favorites in NYC!

I just popped randomly in to grab a nice sandwich while walking back to midtown from the Upper West Side... and was not disappointed. I had the lamb kebab sandwich which was cooked to order (they even gave me a falafel to eat while waiting) and served up on nice soft pita bread with crisp salad, tangy houmous and a good hot sauce. The place itself isn't much to write home about, but that isn't important at all – grab something and go sit in Central Park to enjoy it.
